Gandhi Jayanti
“An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”
Gandhi Jayanti is a special day celebrated in India every year on October 2nd to honour the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. To commemorate this day, an activity of essay writing competition was held on 3rd October, 2023 in S.E.I.S.

School Board Inauguration
4th October, 2023 was an auspicious day for all the members of S.E.I.S. as we unveiled the school name board. The ceremony began with the students playing the drums. The event commenced promptly at 10:30am with a warm welcome from our Principal – Ms. Julie Thomas.
The ceremony then proceeded with a brief history of our school, highlighting the significant milestones and achievements that have been reached over the years. The centerpiece of the event was, of course, the unveiling of the school name board. The honor of revealing the name board was given to the P.T.A. members.
The name board itself is a striking and elegant design, featuring the school’s name, logo, and motto. It has been strategically placed in a prominent location at the entrance of the school, ensuring that it is visible to all who pass by. The new name board is a powerful symbol of our school’s identity and a source of pride for our students, staff, and the entire community.
Parents-Teacher’s meeting
A special Parents-teacher’s meeting was held for grade 10th on 7th October, 2023 to enlighten the parents and the students about the academic performance and the future opportunities of each and every student.
Hoping that it could bring about a positive impact.




A workshop on Nutrition
A special workshop was held for the students of S.E.I.S. to emphasize the need of having nutritious food. The harmful effects of junk food were explained to the students. The workshop was held by Ms. Priyanka Bankeraika, an accomplished dietician nutritionist and lifestyle wellness coach, having more than 15 years of experience.
Navratri Celebration
Garba, a traditional Indian dance form, is celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at S.E.I.S. every year. This event is not only a celebration of the vibrant and rich culture of India but also an opportunity for students to come together, showcase their talent, and foster a sense of unity among the school community. The Garba celebration at our school is a testament to the diversity and inclusivity that our institution stands for.
The school premises were beautifully adorned with colorful drapes, traditional rangoli, and decorative lighting to create a festive ambiance. Students and teachers dressed in traditional Indian attire, with girls wearing colorful chaniya cholis and boys in kurta pajamas. The dress code added to the festive atmosphere and gave everyone a sense of participation in the cultural event. The highlight of the evening was the mesmerizing Garba and Dandiya performances by the students.
To recognize the outstanding performances and efforts of the students, prizes and awards were given to the best dancers and the most creatively dressed participants.
Time Management Workshop
The Time Management Workshop was held on 18th October, 2023 at S.E.I.S. The workshop aimed to provide participants with practical strategies and techniques to enhance their time management skills, enabling them to become more productive and efficient in their personal and professional lives.
The workshop began with welcoming the guest Mr. Durga Siva Teja, who introduced the objectives and agenda of the workshop.
The primary objectives of the Time Management Workshop were as follows:
- To educate participants on the importance of effective time management in both personal and professional life.
- To provide practical strategies and tools for better time management.
- To encourage participants to identify and prioritize their tasks and goals.
- To foster a culture of productivity and work-life balance.
The Time Management Workshop was a successful event, achieving its objectives of educating, empowering, and motivating participants to improve their time management skills. The workshop provided practical tools and techniques that can be readily implemented in participants’ personal and professional lives, ultimately contributing to increased productivity and work-life balance.
Dussehra Celebration
The Dussehra celebration in S.E.I.S. on 20th October, 2023 was a resounding success, fostering a sense of unity and cultural pride among the students. It not only served as a platform for all to come together but also promoted the rich traditions and values associated with this important festival. The enthusiasm and spirit displayed by all participants made this Dussehra celebration a memorable event for everyone involved.
1st International Open Taekwondo Championship – 2023
Taekwondo is a Korean martial art involving punching and kicking techniques. It is one of the oldest forms of martial arts.
We are delighted to announce that the students of S.E.I.S. participated in the 1st International Open Taekwondo Championship – 2023 held in the month of October.
The winners of the competition are as follows:

- Luv Purohit
the above students won gold medal whereas,
- Vanshit Solanki
- Rehan Ansari and
- Prince Thakkar
won silver medals in the competition
We congratulate all the winners and hope this would be an encouragement to all.


Teacher’s Workshop
A teacher’s workshop was held on 28th October, 2023 to discuss the various needs of the students. As we follow the system of inclusive education, we at S.E.I.S. strive hard to provide each and every student with the perfect education which is required for the growth and development of every student.
The workshop was conducted by Ms. Deepali Kadam, an experienced student counsellor.
