Prelims
A pen is mightier than a sword
As the SSC exams approach, the anxiety among the students increases. In order to build up their confidence, S.E.I.S. conducted three preliminary exams for the students appearing for their boards this year.
We wish all the students appearing for their boards a best of luck. May you succeed with flying colours.
Kite Making Competition
Makar Sankranti is celebrated every year on the 14th of January. To add another blooming bud to the bouquet of activities, a Kite Making Competition was organized for the students of S.E.I.S. The students participated in the activity with full zeal and fervour. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to showcase their creativity that left the onlookers astounded. On the whole the competition was full of colours and innovative thoughts.





Moderator Workshops
In order to gain more understanding on how to earn marks during exams, workshops were held by moderators who explained in detail about the ways and means through which the students can gain more marks.
Workshops held were for: English, Marathi, Maths 1 and 2, Science 1 and 2.






Career Guidance
A workshop was conducted by the lecturer from Arihant to speak about the different career opportunities awaiting the students after their schooling. This enables the children to understand about their interests.






Republic Day Celebration
It is a day of national pride and is recognized as a public holiday across the country. Every year, Republic Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The President of India unfurls the National Flag in a ceremony followed by a parade showcasing India’s cultural diversity and military strength.
Indian won its freedom on the 15th of August 1947 and became a republic on the 26th of January 1950. The new constitution of free India came into force with the effect on the 26th itself. It is a day of national rejoicing and it is celebrated with zeal and spirit throughout the Country.
The Republic day celebration started at 8 in the morning with students, teachers, other staff members and parents being present. The event proceeded with the parade done by the student council then the flag hoisting took place. The students of primary and secondary sang and danced on patriotic songs. The students performed a skit representing the preamble of the constitution of India. The event ended with an oath taken by the students to develop and make India self-reliant by 2047, to remove any traces of colonial mind-set, to celebrate our heritage, to strengthen unity and respect to those who protect our country and to perform the duties of a citizen.
