Republic Day
The 71st Republic Day was celebrated in S.E. International School.The speeches were given in English, by Mst.Jeet Godhania of Std VII and Ms.Isha Shenoy of Std IX.
They spoke on the purpose of the rights and duties bestowed the Indian Constitution, thereby elaborating on the current citizenships issues in our democracy, women safety and expectations from the youth of India. Speeches were also given by our Principal Jaya Madam and our Director Mahesh Desai, who spoke focusing on the minute responsibilities around us as future citizens.
२६ जनवरी के शुभ अवसर पर विद्यालय में लघु नाटिका का आयोजन किया थाl इस नाटिका का उद्देश्य यह था कि हम उन शहीदों को श्रध्दांजली अर्पण करे, जिनके कार्य से शायद हम अनजान थेl छात्रो द्वारा प्रस्तुत किये इस नाटिका ने उनके मन में देशभक्ती की भावना को दृढ किया तथा उन्हे किसी भी परिस्थिती में लडने की प्रेरणा मिलीl
Debate Competition
School communities need to go beyond, make the next step and start to really cultivate and encourage skills for the next century. Our teachers and our students need to belong into a learning community, sharing ideas, moving forward, being empowered.
With this is mind, SEIS arranged a debate competition for students of secondary section (Std. 5 – Std. 9) on various topics like women empowerment, street smartness, health and hygiene , Importance of political awareness ,etc. The Interhouse Debate activity brings great advantages for students in various aspect of education. Students discussed on issues related to critical issues that influence our everyday life. The Debate Competition is not only about Competition itself, but an educational extended activity that includes, familiarization with sensitive issues, issues of ethics, law, politics, education and science
It promotes exchange of novel ideas, freedom to express thoughts and work as a team.
