Dance Competition

Dance is the conversation of the body with the soul. The school was choc a bloc with diverse performances in folk dances and those highlighting social cause. The diverse culture of India exquisitely treasures a wide variety of folk and tribal dance forms that vary in style of different regions across the country.
The students did not let the opportunity fly by & displayed their brilliant dancing skills also expressing the issues gripping our society today.

The Green House students performed a dance on the song Tik tik plastic through which they focused on the environmental issues occurring due to plastic(water bottles, straws, plastics bags, etc.) and giving a message to stop the use of single use plastic.

The students of yellow house performed a dance showing that women all around the globe are coming out of their shell’s , realizing their dreams. Heinous crime such as Acid Attack is highlighted in the dance. The role of Acid Victim is inspired by Laxmi Agarwal. The dance was a humble attempt to express the fear , stress , abuse , despair , frustration and rage that they experienced.

The students of red house picked an inspiring story of a common man Afroze Shah . The dance highlighted the callous attitude we millenials have towards our environment and the plight it causes to the Marine life. Then enters a man who vows to make a change and brings about a landmark improvement in the environment.
This gives a strong message that if One man vows, we can change the environment to conserve and protect it .

The students of blue house presented the dance based on women empowerment. Women are an important section of our society. Education as means of empowerment of women can bring about a positive attitudinal change.Students showed journey of women from birth to adult stage and her achievements in various fields.

In its true sense, dance is not just a good form of exercise, but is also a great source for boosting creativity, imagination, confidence and focus of young hearts.

Fancy Dress Competition

Children can be the best natural imitators around. They love to mimic and impersonate their elders, friends or T. V characters and want to become just like them, which is a great talent. To showcase the same, S. E International school conducted the fancy dress competition for primary section based on the following themes:

Std I- students dressed up as fruits and flowers.

Std II- students dressed up as Junk food and healthy food.

Std III – Students dressed as planets.

Std IV – students dressed as musical instruments.

It is the most awaited event of the year, as it is always a pleasure to watch the students dressed up as different characters, speaking confidently.
