Developing Alphabetic Awareness (Std II)

The alphabet is simply a collection of letters and sounds. The alphabet is the building block of literacy and so children must learn to recognize and name the letters, both in and out of order, and the sounds associated with each letter. Developing alphabetic awareness in a child to felicitate learning It is not enough for your child to recognize all the letters of the alphabet, in both capital letter and lowercase form, and to know the names and sounds of each alphabet
Class II had conducted the activity on letters of alphabets. They drew the upper and lower letters with objects in project book and chart paper. Students had performed this activity with great excitement.
Festival of Lights – DIWALI (Std III & IV)

Things have drastically changed in view of the Corona Pandemic. It has taught us many meaningful life lessons. Children of standard 3rd and 4th adapted a new innovative way to celebrate the festival of Lights- Diwali. Activities like Diya decoration and sweet making given to the kids. This taught the kids importance of of money and helping our family. It also made the kids realise how important family time is and how they can make their holidays productive.
Indian Scientists (Std VI)
Students of class 6 gathered information on the Indian Scientists. This encouraged the students to get their doubts cleared in different areas of science and promoted their effective participation. It enabled students to know about the latest developments in the fields of science and technology.
