First Formative Exams

The examination period at S.E.I.S. was successfully conducted from 2nd August 2024 to 8th August 2024, with 99% of students passing their exams. While there were certain challenges, the overall performance was positive, and several students achieved outstanding results. Moving forward, the focus will be on addressing the identified challenges and implementing the recommendations to enhance student learning outcomes.
Buddy Day

On 10th August 2024, we celebrated “Buddy Day” at S.E.I.S, a day dedicated to strengthening friendships, building new connections, and fostering a sense of community among participants. The event was organized by the entire S.E.I.S. team and saw enthusiastic participation from the parents. The theme for the day was “Friendship and Unity,” and the activities planned reflected the spirit of camaraderie and teamwork.
Objectives
The primary objectives of Buddy Day were:
- To promote friendship and teamwork among participants.
- To provide an opportunity for students to bond and create new friendships.
- To encourage collaboration and communication through interactive activities.
- To celebrate the value of friendship and the importance of social connections.
Drawing Competition
“Drawing things makes them seem more real and makes me feel more alive.”

A drawing competition was organized on 12th August 2024, for the students of S.E.I.S. All the young artists participated with great gusto to showcase their artistic acumen.
The theme for the competition was, ‘Independence Day’, which were in tune with the upcoming National festival – Independence Day and the associated value of patriotism, unity and compassion towards humanity. The whole venue was a riot of colours and abuzz as the students worked hard to showcase their talents.

Raksha Bandhan
“Raksha Bandhan is a celebration of the bond between siblings, a bond that is both precious and unbreakable.”

A Raksha Bandhan celebration at a school is a traditional event where students celebrate the bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters. The festivities typically involve the tying of rakhis (sacred threads) by sisters onto the wrists of their brothers, in return for presents and vows of protection.
The students of S.E.I.S. celebrated this festival by participating in the competition and made colourful rakhis. They used decorative threads, stars, mirrors, pearls and flowers for making beautiful rakhis. The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal.

Independence Day
“We must not forget that independence is not given but taken.”

On August 15, 2024, S.E.I.S. celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day, where students, faculty and staff members paid tribute to the nation and freedom fighters of India. It is a remarkable day when we honor and respect all our freedom fighters who fought for India’s freedom.
The celebrations started with flag hoisting by Mahesh Sir (Director), Julie ma’am (Principal) and dignitaries, followed by the National Anthem and a parade by the students. The highlight of the event was the malakumb which was performed by the student of S.E.I.S.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, and sweets were distributed to all the students and staff members.
Janmashtami Celebration
“May the spirit of Janmashtami bring peace and harmony to your life.”
Janmashtami, an annual Hindu festival is the celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. It is celebrated on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the Krishna paksha in the month of Shravana of the lunar hindu calendar. According to the hindu religious epics, Lord Krishna was born around 5,200 years ago in Mathura as the eighth child of Devaki and Vasudeva. Sri Krishna lived on this land to show the path of morality, righteousness, love and the intellectuality of knowledge.
On 23rd August 2024, S.E.I.S.celebrated Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival in a splendid way. The main objective of the festival was to facilitate the children to learn the importance of Shri Krishna Janmashtami .
The celebration of Janmashtami was colourful with flowers and painted pots. The celebration began with the most auspicious pooja to the sacred Govu which resembles the abode for all gods and goddesses. Later on, the teachers lit the ceremonial lamp to give a positive start for the celebration
The celebration of Sri Krishna Janmashtami consisted of anchoring, dancing and watching video-clips depicting the different names of Sri Krishna and their importance. 90 students took part in the programme making it colourful, cheerful and an informative one carrying joy and the feeling of unity among the students.
Storytelling Competition

Stories always give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of the physical world. While competitions are the best way to boost the confidence of children. Keeping this in mind, a storytelling competition was conducted for the students of the primary section.

Open House
“Let us remember: One book, one pen, one child and one teacher can change the world.”

Open house meetings are important as it allows parents to share insights and behavior about their children with the teacher. Also, these meeting allow teachers to share insights about the children with the parents. This two-way communication with both parties being aware of the performance of the children helps the children largely.
A teacher sharing information on where children are progressing and where they lag behind helps parents act accordingly. Similarly, a teacher acts based on the information received from parents. This allows parents to get to know their child better by discovering their skills, interests, likes, dislikes, behavior, and a lot more.
Educational Trip
Making history with every step on this epic school field trip.
One day educational trip was organized by S.E.I.S. to visit ‘The Museum of Solutions’ on Monday 26th August, 2024.
A new experiential children’s museum at Worli, which is inclusive and interactive, will help your child connect with the world around and look within. The Museum of Solutions offers hands-on, open-ended activities that empower children to explore, design and problem-solve. In a city that has a major dearth of safe spaces for kids to experiment, learn and grow, the Museum of Solution (MuSo) that recently opened at Victoria House at Kamala Mills could be a godsent. Four floors of the not-for-profit initiative designed as a world-class, experiential children’s museum are now open, and each storey offers an immersive experience.
The students enjoyed themselves and also gained enormous knowledge.
